Renee: i have been interested in art my whole life. at a young age, i started art journaling and scrapbooking. all throughout my school years i was focused on graphic and industrial art with photography as a minor. photography has always been a passion. it wasn’t until 20 years ago, i started scrapbooking the way we see scrapbooking today. approximately 10 years ago, i started dabbling back into art journaling and more recently playing with mixed media and creating gel press projects. as a previous owner of an online scrapbook business back in the 2000’s and now working part-time at a local scrapbook store, i get a lot of scrapbook and mixed media projects completed. being active in this hobby, i have a lot of knowledge of the scrapbook industry and have seen many different styles. i have taught scrapbooking for many years through my old business and i continue to teach scrapbooking and mixed media projects at my local scrapbook store. when i’m not creating, my other passions are my 4 cats, volunteering for animal rescues, mexican food, kayaking & the outdoors, gardening and spending time with my friends and family.
