Been busy....having a hard time keeping up...
Well.....it has been crazy busy here! We have a Beaver's camp this weekend with B in the Stettler area Saturday and part of Sunday (B misses swimming lessons again), Laur has the Bowler of the Year Competition tomorrow night at 7 p.m., B has Beavers tonight and we are launhing rockets, Nikki is coming over today to work of retreat stuff, I was told our old school's (I still do stuff for them) yearbook has to be in and approved at the printer for April 28th, well that mean I have to finish it off single handidly. The Principal from school called me to tell me that the "school registration signs" I ordered were put in the wrong spot and they are infringing boundaries. Now, I have to try and get them moved to a different location. We have the retreat next weekend and aren't ready yet. I found out today, we DO have enough tables. This is our largest retreat so far! I still have people calling to find out if they can come. NO MORE ROOM AT THE INN & IN THE SCRAPBOOK ROOM. Sorry! Book for NEXT FALL! My friend and her daughter are coming over Monday for a visit as I haven't seen her since last summer. Janna needs to get together with Nikki & I still so we can get the workshops together........too much going on!
I want a break!
Here is some info on how crazy I am....what kind of cookie are you?

Have a great pre-Easter week!

Busy this week and hope to post some more but just thought I would give you some humour for now.
For all the L2S DT members and anyone interested in getting an L2S shirt here is what they will look like below. We are getting light pink t-shirts and white ones. Prices and better pictures to come soon. If you are interested in one (
limited supply) please let us know. Anyone working Scrapfest with us will get one (Janna & Corry).(the front of the shirt)

back of the shirt. The black won't be there. It looks much better in person.
Had fun but am now pooped out!

We went to the Calgary Zoo with Scouts this past weekend and hd a great time but I am sore and very tired!
So now you see the
"goofy-looking" Beaver Leader in action. My Leader name is "Ring-Tail". No, keep your mind out of the gutter! My name is from a Lemur. My friend Lisa's name is "Bubbles". She sounds like a stripper! I can handle Ring-Tail.Here are a couple pics of the kids (namely mine!).

I have no idea how you found me on here. So weird how people can find each other online. You said to cut my hair like it used to be and go lighter. My hair is light brown now and just belo my shoulders.

Sorry been away for a while......
Well to start things off....my computer was inoperable for the entire weekend so needless to say I went through major computer withdrawal! Last week was a VERY busy week! Here is just some of what happened!
Lauren (my 4 year old) won Gold in individual bowling provincials! I was so proud of her. She had a +79 over her average. I was so impressed. I kind of figured she would get it. She had a 109 in her first game and again around 100 mark in her second game. She is one awesome bowler for being 4 years old. My son was a trooper. He is used to being the bowling champ. This year he has taken a step back to Lauren. He was so cute. He said "Mom I am proud of her!". Made my heart melt. Photo to come soon.
My friend Sheryl has had my digi camera all week so I haven't had a chance to take photos. She is fixing it so I should have it soon. I will be able to take a pic of the L2S April Kit as well created by Tammy Brownlee.
Stacy Julian is going to be chatting at Love 2 Scrap April 26th at 8 p.m. (this is not a real-time chat). Post your questions on our Forum and Stacy will answer them. Thanks Janna Henke for lining this up for us! Check out Stacy's The Big Picture Book availble at Love 2 Scrap before you chat with Stacy. It is an amazing book! Definately one of the best I have seen!
I have been told that my taste in men is lacking (hmm...Elizabeth), so I have decided to post some more eye

candy (in my eye's anyways).
John Taylor, Johnny Depp, Dermot Mulroney, Jake Gyllenhall and of course Joaquin! I like "J's". Good thing. My hubby is Jon!
So there are some more of my favorites!

Less than 2 months until CKU. I guess I had better get my butt in gear and figure out what I need to take and get my stuff ready for classes. One of the ladies going here from one of the LSS, told me she is taking a Making Memories Runway Tote in stylish pink to carry all her stuff. I am thinking of doing the same possibly and wearing my cool pink Crocs (oh so omfortable!) as well. I was stopped about 6 times today and asked about them! Can't wait until we go. Will have to check with Janna-banana and see what she is taking!

Scrapfest......it is official we are vendors at Scrapfest, September 23rd-24th in Edmonton at the Mayfield Trade Center. For more details see Scrapfest's site at www.scrapfest.ca
We are planning for the event and hope to meet a lot of you there and hang with our buds!

Who Am I?
I saw on Tammy's Blog today her Muppet Test o I thought I would try this one too. She is Animal. I am Fozzy Bear.
You should try it out too!
| You Are Fozzie Bear |
"Wocka! Wocka!" You're the life of the party, and you love making people crack up. If only your routine didn't always bomb! You may find more groans than laughs, but always keep the jokes coming. |
You should try it out too!
SNOW...is it ever going to stop?
We are currently getting anywhere between 15-25 cm's of snow right now and it is not letting up. I am SO sick of looking at snow that I am ready to go on a long, hot, sandy vacation somewhere in the Carribean. Give me a few Pina Colads and some sun and heat and I am good to go!
We had our crop today and as I exprected 1/2 of the people registered didn't come which is totally understandable with the road and weather conditions. Thanks to everyone who did venture out. We had a great time with you! Our next crop is My 27th at the Burnewood Hall and April 1st at the Sherwood Park Pentecostal Church. Hope to see you at both events!
Stay warm everyone....I don't plan on going out unless I absolutely have to!

Sunday ~ get kids from Londonderry, do homework with them, have to do shipments and L2S stuff as well as clean my house (oh I forgot that is one of my duties!). I still haven't put my laundry away I washed on Monday. There is a job for tonight.

Look what I got today.....

my friend Lisa emailed me photos from our school dance from our kids' school. Lisa and I organized the dance. I was the "Corpse Bride". I loved my costume. looking back now though I should have put white paint on my arms.
We went to McDonald's for dinner before the dance. It was not Halloween when we had the dance so we had many weird looks. Lisa was a hippie. Her kids are the pirate and th Grim Reaper. My kids were the ninja and the witch.
Halloween is my favorite time of year....well besides Christmas of course!

Hair...what should I do?
Well I keep pondering....go light, stay dark....keep growing, cut off?
I need help. I love short hair but just get bored once I have it. I personally prefer lighter hair on me but get mixed reviews so lets let you be the judge. Here are some photos of me. What should I do? These photos are all within the last year.

What do you think? My hair grows pretty fast but I am not sure what looks better. Please help....

So much to say....

Well I got my Crocs and wow....those are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I will be buying me some more of those puppies! Highly recommended shoes! Especially if you have foot problems.
I was on Donna's web site the other day and saw her Poppet she had designed by artist Claudine Helmuth. Well I have mine being done as well. Here is Donna's. I asked for something scrapbook related as well. If you want her information please email me at renee@love2scrap.
caI have been looking over my information for CKU and getting very excited to take some of the classes there. One I think will be really good will be Elsie Flanigan's. I have a couple back to back with her. She is so cool!
Got our tickets a couple days ago for The Shrine Circus. We are going on Saturday. I haven't been to the circus since I was young.
Lauren was told last weekend she is in bowling provincials on Sunday. My little 4 year old is kicking the older kids' butts. It is very strange seeing how good she is at only 4. My 7 year old son has his nose out of joint that she is in provincials and he isn't.
We are going out for dinner tonight for Jon's birthday. We are going to the Keg for dinner. My Mom, her boyfriend, my sister, niece, our 2 kids, my father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and the 2 of us. Should be tight but I know Jon loves the Keg! Happy Birthday dear!
On the flipside...here is my daily dose of my boyfriend....

my daughter is too funny.....

Lauren cracks me up daily. She can be real pain in the cha-cha most of the time but then she redeems herself with this little bit of cutie-ness! Tonight we went out for dinner because "mommy didn't feel like cooking"...what else is new? We got home and she went and put on her jammies, her flip flops and her sleeping shades (?). The read on them "only a prince can kiss these lips". Okay I know totally inapporpriate for a 4 y.o. but she loves it! She is a Claire's junkie. She always asks for Claire's Gift Certificates. She is a 10 for $10 girl. This is one of her items! Gotta love her. She is so frickin funny!
So nice to know that not much is happening this week. Finally a breather! Dentist tomorrow (yikes!), Jon's birthday Thursday, swimming lessons Thursday and Laur is in bowling provincials on the weekend.
So nice to have breathing room!

Cool Scrapbook Shirts....

Have you seen Tenika Morrison's Scrapbook shirts line? They are so cool! Here is the link http://tenika.com Her shirts are very trendy and hip and from what I can see a good price as well.
OSCAR PARTY... my friend Sheryl is throwing an Oscar party on Sunday for Sheryl, my friend Nikki and myself. Okay do you know what us mid-30's gals are doing for fun??? We are wearing our Pj's over to Sheryls, doing boufant hair (or 40's-50's movie stars hair), wearing bold make-up and costume jewelry, eating finger food and drinking wine and to top it off, we are voting ahead of time on a shet of paper (we have all the nominees) who we think will win. We are puting money in a pot and the person who has the most correct wins the pot. Okay, I know we are nuts! But it sounds like fun doesn't it? This will definately be a scrapbook moment for sure! Here is us before hand....(this picture is 1 year and a half old). From left to right....Sheryl, me & Nikki.

Heidi Swapp.....where do i start?

This woman has a very cool sense of style! She knows exactly what to create and I love it all! We worked with rub-ons, masks, florals and tons more. She has a new patterned paper line coming out as well. She is very cool nd I loved meeting her and chatting with her. She was very down to earth!
I know it looks like I ate her for breakfast! She was much smaller than me and after seeing the photo and that my "ta-ta's" were knocking her out, I need to get back to the gym! I think I need to go blonde again. Not a ton but more than I am now.
What do you think? You be the judge!
Planing and more planning....

Well we are in the works for planning a few of our events and also other events in and around the city. We will be at:
Scrapbook for Scouts (March)
Fundraiser Crop For Breast Cancer (April)
Love 2 Scrap Spring Retreat (April)
Scrapfest (September)
Love 2 Scrap Fall Retreat (October)
Lots of planning.....doing workshops and meeting new people. What kinds of workshops would you want to see? What kinds of make n' takes?

We are starting to register for our fall retreat May 1st so check out our web site at http://love2scrap.ca fo more info. They are always a lot of fun!
Just rented some movies.....Walk the Line with my guy (LOL), Joaquin! and In Her Shoes with Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette. I have seen both shows in the theatre but loved them both! I recommend them both if you haven't seen them.

Scrapbook.....Have a few new ideas!

After chatting with Stacy Julian I have come up with some different ideas of what I want to scrapbook. I have never been all about just scrapbooking my kids. I jump all over the place and NEVER scrapbook chronologically. I do whatever is in my heart or what I feel like at the time. Well, I have got two mini albums on the go of which I will post when I am done them. One is The People I Love and the other is The Places I Love. I was totally inspired to do these. So that is my new challenge to myself. It shouldn't be too hard. I also want to create one that is All About Me. I know that may sound a bit self-centered but really those are for me anyways.
I am going to Janna's tonight to scrapbook and chat about DT stuff. Should be fun. I have never scrapbooked at crazy Janna's house before. Janna is the one on the right and Rhonda Birkoben is the one on the right. They are both such a hoot!
I forgot to mention that I ordered 2 pairs of Crocs from http://crocs.com and was told they were shipped via FedEx today so I can't wait to get them. I ordered the Breast Cancer Pink ones and pir of Lime Green ones (different style). I am set for my trip in May now!

I can't believe it....
I met Heidi Swapp, Stacy Julian , Wendy Johnson (creator of The Joy of Card Making magazine from Paper Crafts) and some other cool people.Heidi Swapp was so cool and cute! We did a cool file folder creation with her. I will post as soon as I am finished. It was a lot of fun! She gave us fuzzy rub-ons to use, chipboard, masks and so much more. She was telling us how she came up with the Lipshine lipgloss. She said everyone needs lipgloss when they have their picture taken. I won an iron in her door prize. Man was I psyched!
Stacy Julian...you don't know Stacy from photos until you meet her. She was one of the most down to earth, friendly people I have ever met. Talking to her, you forget she is a scrapbook celebrity and feel like you have known her for years. She has some great insight into scrapbooking and I highly recommend her "Big Picture" philosophy and book. She has amazing ideas! You should check it out.
I came home with so much loot! I had a blast! I created a lot of cool projects and had a lot of fun meeting some new and exciting people! Janna (L2S Design Team & friend) came with me. We had a blast! Janna even got our friend Elizabeth's book signed by Stacy Julian! It was cute. Stacy enjoyed haring about Elizabeth and checking out all her flags in the book.
I can't wait until the summer to go again!
